From concept to design Gilwood knows that the discerning customer will be assured by the commitment to quality design and engineering that Gilwood instils.

Throughout the Gilwood process, engineering a quality product is paramount to the design focus. Our comprehensive in-house design service uses the latest software, including the Finglow calculation package and Solid Edge design software, as well as CAD design software.

Our integrated design system; means we can develop parts directly from models. This ensures highly-accurate and efficient design and fabrication of all products for the individual specifications of customers from all industry sectors.

Our vessel engineers work closely with our clients to produce exacting results and are capable of producing a wide range of vessels to many international codes.

Each project undertaken carries the relevant amount of documentation ensuring total traceability and validation to comply with the stringent requirements associated with the Pharmaceutical and Nuclear industries. All engineering data can be submitted electronically which has the benefit of reducing project lead times.

Gilwood Pressure vessels are available in a plethora of materials including high alloys. We adopt the Pressure Equipment Directive Pressure Vessel Standards to CE, PED, PD 5500 Cat 1, 2 and 3, ASME VIII Div I U Stamp, China Special Equipment Licence, SQLO, M Stamp, ISPESL, AD-Merkblatter, Stoomwezen, DOSH and other recognised international codes.
